Type of Assessment
The final oral examination aims to ensure the acquisition of knowledge and skills by an oral examination consisting in a) oral presentation of a free and b) questions on parts of the programme presented during the lectures. In this way it is possible to reliably assess the degree of achievement of the expected learning outcomes.

Fungi: evolutionary origins and phylogenetics of fungi; fungal Kingdom; anatomy, morphology and development. Reproduction;the true fungi (or Eumycota); Classification of fungi: Chytridiomycota, Blastocladiomycota, Glomeromycota, Zygomycota, Ascomycota and the Basidiomycota
Lichens: anatomy of thallus, morphology of thallus, vegetative structures and development. Systematic evaluation of morphological characters, systematic criteria. Conservation strategy, environmental response and effects, lichens and air pollution, ecological continuity, secondary metabolic products. Classification
